ABOUT DAVE
Indiana is a wonderful state filled with remarkable people. Indiana’s best days are ahead!
Having served as Elkhart City Councilman and as two-term Mayor, Dave Miller has first-hand legislative and administrative experience.
For Dave, “Building a City for Life” was not a slogan – it was his mission. Anyone who looks around Elkhart can readily see remarkable improvements – all geared toward the future. The first new underpass in 50 years, the Riverwalk and RiverWalk Commons, Indiana University’s Elkhart Centre, McNaughton Spray Park, Nibco Water & Ice Park, and Municipal Reorganization, to name just a few; all intended to improve the quality of life, attract and retain good people and good employers, and keep government efficient, effective and accountable. Dave cares deeply about the kind of future we’ll leave for all of Indiana’s children and is passionate about serving you as a State Representative.
Dave learned that no elected official has more effect on citizens’ day-to-day lives than their mayor. The things the Indiana General Assembly does trickle down to the cities and towns in profound ways. It is time Elkhart, Osceola and Mishawaka were represented by someone who understands the impact of decisions made in Indianapolis and keeps Michiana’s best interests at heart. Together, we will bring positive change in Indianapolis while seeking opportunities to expand and grow our community, making sure that our area is a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
